The project is to examine the neuronal signaling, synaptic function, synaptic plasticity and neuronal modulations in the mammalian cerebral cortex. Experience with electrophysiological techniques is desirable. We also use morphological, immunohistochemistry, pharmacological, and calcium imaging approaches to address these questions in the laboratory. The successful candidate would be joining a highly interactive and dynamic group of neuroscientists at laceName w:st="on">DrexellaceName> laceType w:st="on">UniversitylaceType> College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
