A postdoc position for electrophysiology study

A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately to study functional regulation of receptors and channels in the synapses, especially how PICK1 regulates functions of AMPA type glutamate receptors and acid-sensing channels, using electrophysiological methods. For more information about research of the lab, please see Neuron 28:499 and Neuron 22:179. The candidate is expected to conduct patch clamp experiments on cultured neurons and brain slices. The candidate should have a doctoral degree with strong background in neuroscience and hands-on experience in electrophysiology. The candidate should be able to start before Dec. 31 2003.
