ABEPs的潜伏期和振幅的变化与提示的声音刺激的提示频率有关,提示的越频繁,潜伏期越长,振幅越小.这种情况主要表现在waves III and V 相对于 wave I的变化 ABEPs latencies increases with increasing stimulus repetition rate. Amplitude reduction is also associated with increasing repetition rate. Earlier studies have demonstrated larger latency increments for waves III and V relative to wave I, with respective peak amplitude decrements, which were more pronounced the earlier the peak. Harkins et al. [1] evaluated the effects of stimulus rate on the interpeak latency differences of various ABEP components. They found that the I–III interval showed the largest increase with increase in stimulus rate. Martin [2] noted that ABEP wave III and wave V latency shifted in a parallel fashion with increasing stimulus repetition rate. The effects of high stimulus rate have been attributed to changes in synaptic efficacy along the auditory pathway. 1/ Harkins SW, McEvoy TM, Scott ML.
